Space to breathe: a guest opinion letter in The Washington Post

The RESPIRAR team recently submitted a guest opinion letter to The Washington Post in response to Anthony S. Fauci’s recent appearance before Congress and The Post’s article, “CDC’s 6-foot distancing rule during pandemic had little scientific basis.”

In the letter, our experts discuss the distancing guidelines while emphasizing that the experiences of agriculture and food workers, among other frontline workers, who were disproportionately harmed during the pandemic, should be part of the conversation as lawmakers reflect on the past to prepare for future pandemics and public health emergencies.
