Outreach and Field Coordinator

Dr. Jean-Frandy Philogene is the Outreach and Field Coordinator for Comite de Apoyo a los Trabajadores Agricolas (CATA). Working out of the CATA office in Salisbury, Frandy helps the RESPIRAR team build relationships with Latino and Haitian Creole farmworkers throughout Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He is committed to ensuring farmworkers have safe and suitable housing conditions.

In his spare time, Frandy remains active in the Haitian Community in Salisbury, working with the Haitian Development Center of DELMARVA and the Haitian Business Association. He leverages his expertise to help foster a relationship between Haitian and Latino communities and aspires to promote cultural exchanges and harmonious coexistence.

Before joining CATA, Frandy served as a primary care physician at the Community Coalition for Haiti in his home country. Frandy earned his medical doctorate degree from the Tecnological University of Santiago in the Dominican Republic.
