Ellis Ballard, MSW, MPH

System Dynamics Modeler

Ellis Ballard is a system dynamics modeler and community-based researcher with extensive experience leading and training research teams in designing and using participatory group model-building exercises. As a co-investigator for the project, he designs and conducts the RESPIRAR Project’s participatory group model-building workshops with stakeholder groups to help us better understand health outcomes for farmworkers.

Ellis is the director of the Social Systems Design Lab and an assistant professor of Practice at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis.
