Elise Ferrer performs archival and anthropological analysis for the RESPIRAR Project, helping to make the structural, political, and historical determinants of health disparities visible.

Elise is a master's student in Public Anthropology at American University. Her work is focused on the intersection of power, race, space, history, and labor in the service of building a more emancipatory, care-centric world.
