Alisha Camacho
Science Communications Research Assistant
Alisha supports the RESPIRAR project by providing communication support and producing outreach materials for stakeholders and participants. She is a graduate student pursuing her master’s in journalism at the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill School of Journalism.
Before returning to school, Alisha spent nearly ten years working on local environmental equity initiatives in the Washington, D.C., area at the intersection of communications, multimedia production, and education. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and geography at The George Washington University in 2013.
