Danielle Weber

Community Advisor

Danielle Weber is committed to serving Somerset County community members on the Eastern Shore. As a RESPIRAR community advisor, she offers her experiences working with Somerset County's local migrant workers and partners who serve this community.  

Danielle was appointed Somerset County's health officer in 2021 and is responsible for overseeing and managing all public health programs, assessments, planning, and monitoring services. She began her career at the Somerset County Health Department in 1995 and has held various nursing and management positions, including deputy administrative health officer. 

Additionally, Danielle is a member of the Salisbury University Advisory Board for the College of Health and Human Services, an advisory board member for the Chesapeake Housing Mission, and sits on the Somerset County Local Management Board. 

Danielle earned her bachelor of science in nursing and master of science in nursing leadership and management from Salisbury University.
